Susulan lawatan kerja saya dan delegasi Kerajaan Negeri Johor ke Korea dan Jepun, saya telah mengadakan lawatan ke Johor Bahru Integrated Operations Control Centre (JBIOCC) atau Pusat Kawalan Operasi Bersepadu Johor Bahru bertempat di Menara Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB). JBIOCC dilengkapi dengan 108 CCTV berkeupayaan 15 ciri kecerdasan buatan (Artifical Intelligence) serta Pusat Operasi Bersepadu Pintar (SIOC). Selain itu, sebanyak 500 buah camera CCTV telah ditambah bagi tujuan pemantauan, 5 buah VMS dan 10 panic button siap dipasang di sekitar Bandaraya Johor Bahru. Pusat ini boleh menjalankan beberapa fungsi utama termasuklah:- 1. Pemantauan Keselamatan dan Kecemasan 2. Pengurusan Trafik dan Pengangkutan Awam 3. Pengurusan Infrastruktur Bandar 4. Pengurusan Bencana 5. Penguatkuasaan Undang-undang Dalam sesi lawatan ini, saya juga telah dibentangkan mengenai halatuju, strategi, dan penarafan Bandar Pintar Negeri Johor, khususnya di bawah MBJB. Sasaran utama ialah mencapai Tahap 3 atau \u201cLeading Smart City\u201d pada tahun 2025 &#8211; 2026 di mana bandar ini akan memanfaatkan teknologi canggih bagi meningkatkan pengurusan dan kecekapan bandar demi kesejahteraan rakyat. Saya yakin dan pasti dengan sokongan dan komitmen dari semua pihak, Johor Bahru mampu menjadi sebuah bandar pintar yang bertaraf antarabangsa selaras dengan aspirasi Bandar Pintar Johor 2030. Semoga segala yang dirancang mampu diterjemahkan mengikut jadual, agar segala limpahan daripada pembangunan ini dapat dirasai seluruh Bangsa Johor. Insya-Allah.
